Life is what happens to you while you are making other plans,
so donīt dream your life but live your dreams.
Sometimes there is the wish to change your life or routine. Only if you live your dreams and if you are trying to do something different from your usual habits will give you an idea whatīs all about!
Never take all for granted, the real life is out there and the best way to explore the world is a trip on a motorcycle:
Being exposed to nature, weather, people, foreign countries and culture, new languages and customs, an adventure on a motorcycle and the miles you travel will always stay in your mind.
But at the beginning there has always to be a decision, a decision for each of us and a shared decision from both of us. Especially a long term travel without fixed return date as we wanted to experience, needed not only a decision in favor of an adventure, but also and not the least a decision for a long period of uncertainty. Questions like what will be afterwards, will we return to Germany or Switzerland, will we get integrated again, do we want to be integrated again, do we find work again? Many unanswered questions will be part of the decision and once you have decided in favor of such an adventure, you are feeling the consequences.
Beginning with financial, organisation and technical questions for health care, travel requirements or changes at the bikes...
One cannot imagine how difficult it is to leave all things behind, leave all properties, sell everything you own and just concentrate on important things in life.
Thomas is right in saying:
"all what you need to live fits on a bike."
(if it doesnīt, you donīt need it)
